Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026.

What we collect

Job listing content you submit (company name, job details, contact/apply links). An anonymous visitor identifier stored in your browser's local storage, used only to count unique visitors and show “who's online.” Your theme preference (light/dark), also stored locally. Basic usage data such as click counts on listings.

What we don't collect

We never see or store your payment card details. Payments are processed entirely by Paypal, our payment provider — ninedollarhire only receives confirmation that a payment succeeded and the amount paid, not your card or bank details.

Who we share data with

Paypal (payment processing, per their own privacy policy). We do not sell visitor or listing data to third parties.

Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember your anonymous visitor ID, theme preference, and — if you post a job — a private edit token for that listing, across visits.

Data retention

Job listings are retained for the duration they're live plus a reasonable period after expiry for record-keeping. Visitor presence data is automatically deleted after a short retention window.
